4th of July

Made some buffalo chicken dip and wish that you could enjoy it as much as we will. This will be on a burger or hot dog later for sure!!! Justin, Kelly, Dennis and I will be cooking out and enjoying some tasty beverages to celebrate a day of freedom! AMERICA....FUCK YEAH!!

Taco Night #1 (Of Many)

Kristina and Kelly went to Alicia's bridal shower today in Springfield, Virginia. While they were there, I spent the day watching 'True Lies' several times and building a charcoal grill. The original plan was for the three of us to meet up in the evening and have taco night, enjoying various hot sauces and regretting our decisions in the morning.

Dennis and Lauren stopped by on their way to see Jurassic Park in 3D, and (with very little persuasion) decided to abandon their plans and join us.

Cats were held, casually.

Jiggies were gotten with.

Some sauces were too hot.

(That's a bottle of bleu cheese dressing)

There was an empty seat at the table for you.

Bring back some Afghan hot sauce.

Also, the O's won, but you know that.

Apologies To The Meteorologists

We did get some snow.

Spring Hard: With A Vengeance

Meteorologists are forecasting our deaths.

We're supposed to get a thousand feet of snow as of 7 hours ago.

I still love the idea that a meteorologist can be wrong 100% of the time and keep their job. One thing that you shouldn't be missing is all of the weather lies.

Deployment

I'm not sure how to start this off, but here goes...

You were deployed today.

K-Balls is quite distraught, understandably.

She and Kelly took a trip to Gettysburg, after a stop at Mike & Helene's, while I was at work.

My friend Dave is also leaving. He's off to L.A. to be a stand-up comedian, or an actor... who knows?

We had a going away party for him as well, in a garage, full of theater kids. Drunk, stupid theater kids.

We quoted The Simpsons, Futurama, etc. I ranted about the need to watch Criterion movies.

We made our way back to your house. K-Balls was asleep on the couch. I tucked her in to bed, told her she was loved, then made my way home. It's obvious, we miss you already.
